Warrants

Good News – Las Vegas Warrants Can be Quashed in Hours

If you are stopped by the police on a routine traffic violation and there is a warrant for your arrest, you can be taken to jail immediately or held for extradition to Nevada if you are from out of state.

Many people have warrants in Nevada and may not even be aware of it. Warrants for unpaid traffic citations, bad checks or unpaid casino markers and arrest warrants can all be issued without the subject’s knowledge.

In Las Vegas, and all of Nevada, bench warrants are issued by a judge when someone has:

  • Missed a court date (FTA or Fail to Appear)
  • Not paying a fine (FTP or Fail to Pay)
  • Not attended a counseling, or missed community service
